The 2004 season saw some extra help for the ever reliable Paul 'Bun' Thorogood.
Andy Whylie managed the under 15's whilst Paul Sharp managed the under 13's,
Bun managed the under 11's himself.
The under 13's had their first match at the end of April and lost to a very professional looking side in Hutton. A further defeat away at Springfield saw some harsh words from the manager who felt the side was not doing justice to itself. This induced a dramatic turn round in the season and the rest of the season saw us win all our matches.
The under 11's and under 15's all though winning few matches made steady progress and some of the under 15's are gained experience in the adults sides.
From the winter nets more progress has been made and future looks bright with so many young players coming through.
For the 2005 season the sad retirement of both, Paul Sharp, and Andy Whylie after many years of service. This how ever enables Colin Moore and Jeff Roche as the new assistance to Bun.
We wish them and all the young players an enjoyable and successful season.
